If you fly to South Africa to go mountain biking, you want to be 100% sure that you combine the most beautiful trails every day. Well, we give you that guarantee. You gonna Ride with the Locals!

We ride between 3 and 4 hours trails per day | The program is not set in stone yet.
Depending on the group and the weather, the guides will decide which trails to ride.
From six participants onward, we provide two guides; from nine participants, three guides.
It may happen that we split the group at some days depending on fitness and skills level.
It is important that you have sufficient mountain biking experience.
We follow the social riding principle — not performance-based… it’s a holiday ;-)
If there is a rider in the group who is significantly slower, we can ask that person to rent an e-MTB.
On several days we offer an optional activity you can sign up for.
The optional activities will be shared in the WhatsApp group:

1. Township Experience (70 euro pp)
2. Shooting Range Lourensford (90 euro pp)

All lunch and dinner locations will be reserved one month before arrival.

We are Karin and Marcel Bosgra, passionate cyclists from the beautiful Nijverdal, located on the Sallandse Heuvelrug - a paradise for mountain bikers, gravel riders and racing cyclists. Karin has completed her education at the C.I.O.S in Heerenveen and a lot of experience. In 2020, Karin opened her Total Bikefitting studio. Marcel is active in co-organizing MTB activities in the region, including the MTB multi-day event for cycling club CC75 and the Strade Bianchi.

Our passion for mountain biking and adventure has brought us to the untouched beauty of the Western Cape in South Africa. Since 2023 we are proud to be a partner and co-organizer of our own Total Bikefitting Edition of the South Africa MTB Experience. On November 11th we will travel with a group of 12 participants for our 3rd Edition and the November 2025 edition is already on the calendar!
