The Western Cape is a unique piece of nature, also called the Cape Floral Region. Eight areas in the Western Cape fall under Unesco World Heritage Site. It is among the top three in the world for biodiversity, and to think that in this area more than 1,500 km of mountain bike trail await you. Also unique is the ocean wildlife, the Western Cape is known for the annual migration of whales to Walkerbay, the white sharks of Gansbaai and the penguins at Boulder Beach.
