| Saturday | Arrive, prepare your bikes, enjoy an easy warm-up ride at Lourensford Trails and end the day with a traditional South African braai at YEBO. |
| Sunday | Ride the fast-flowing Banhoek Trails in the morning, enjoy lunch, explore the iconic Jonkershoek Trails in the afternoon, and finish the day with dinner at Longridge Wine Estate. |
| Monday | Ride the iconic 6 Estates Trails, discover Eden Forest, enjoy a scenic stop at Stellenzicht Wine Estate, conquer the famous Ernie Els rock slabs, explore Dornier Trails and finish the day with dinner at Mont Marie in the heart of the Cape Winelands. |
| Tuesday | Ride the spectacular Plaisir and Boschendal Trails, experience the rugged landscapes of the Cape Winelands, enjoy a challenging day on the bike, and unwind with a sundowner followed by a traditional bobotie dinner at YEBO. |

| Saturday | Helderberg Trails for the final ride – challenging and adventurous, climbing all the way to the top before letting the brakes go on fast, flowing trails. From 12:00, we gather in the boma for a final evaluation and farewell with Team YEBO and our guides, followed by lunch at Vergelegen Wine Estate and check-out at 17:00. |

We are Axel Sman and Michelle Zacht. Alongside our full-time jobs, we love spending as much time as possible on our bikes, both at home and abroad.
We houden van avontuur en dat combineren we graag met een goeie kop koffie en een stuk taart. Daarnaast zoeken we regelmatig de uitdaging op tijdens (meerdaagse) mountainbike-marathons.
So far, our cycling adventures have taken us across Europe. We've discovered countless beautiful places and experienced some truly special moments along the way. We love sharing our adventures on Instagram and Strava. Not because we have to, but because we hope to inspire and connect with others. And along the way, it has already led to plenty of new ideas and wonderful encounters.
Riding the Cape Epic is a dream shared by almost every mountain biker, but for many, it remains out of reach. That's why we decided to discover South Africa in a different way. In December 2025, we travelled to South Africa with MTB Zuid Afrika — and to be honest, we were hooked after just a few days. The incredible variety of trails, the breathtaking landscapes, the warmth of the people, and of course, the fantastic food. South Africa turned out to be much more than just a beautiful destination. It's a place that makes you fall in love with mountain biking all over again.
We knew straight away: we wanted to come back. And not just for ourselves, but to share this experience with a group of like-minded riders. Riding together, enjoying together, creating memories together. Social riding is at the heart of it all, while taking time to appreciate the incredible surroundings and enjoying plenty of challenges along the way, on trails that will undoubtedly rank among the most beautiful you've ever ridden.
