When you fly to South Africa for a mountain biking holiday, you want to be 100% sure that you ride the most beautiful trails every single day. Well, we guarantee exactly that — You gonna Ride with the Locals!
  • We ride between 3 and 4 hours trails per day | The program is not set in stone yet.
  • Depending on the group and the weather, the guides will decide which trails to ride.
  • From six participants onward, we provide two guides; from nine participants, three guides.
  • It may happen that we split the group at some days depending on fitness and skills level.
  • It is important that you have sufficient mountain biking experience.
  • We follow the social riding principle — not performance-based… it’s a holiday ;-)
  • If there is a rider in the group who is significantly slower, we can ask that person to rent an e-MTB.
  • On several days we offer an optional activity you can sign up for.
  • The optional activities will be shared in the WhatsApp group:
    1. Township Experience (70 euro pp)
    2. Ziplining (60 euro pp)
    3. Shooting Range Lourensford (90 euro pp)

  • Zondag 26 Oktober back@Home of je bent nog aan het reizen in Zuid-afrika.
  • Wil je eerder komen of langer blijven, laat het dan zo vroeg mogelijk weten ivm beschikbaarheid
  • If you’d like to rent an MTB, make sure to book early!
  • Optional activities are not included in the price. We'll inform you via the WhatsApp group app.
  • All lunch and dinner locations will be reserved one month before arrival.

  • Check with your insurance if Mountain Biking is within the coverage

    Tuesday Elgin Trails: until 3pm followed by a late lunch at www.IDIOM.co.za
    Wednesday Boschendal Plaisir | a beautiful day through rugged landscape | beautiful traverse | spicy | in the evening Bobotie @ YEBO
    Thursday Visit Cape Town or Khayelitsha township cycle tour | Evening ride on Lourensford from 4pm | Burgers and Beer with the local Riders
    Friday Banhoek Trails | Lunch @ Jonkershoek Trails | Firehut | Irish Climb | Armageddon | in de avond naar Stellenbosch Fat Butcher of Volkskombuis
    Saturday Helderberg Trails: the last Ride | tough and adventurous | one hour of climbing and then let go of the brakes | fast flow trails | from 12:00 gather in the boma for evaluation and farewell to team YEBO and the guides | followed by lunch at the Vergelegen estate | 5:00 pm check-out

    We understand that paying the full participation fee upfront isn't always the most convenient option. That's why you can reserve your place with a €500 deposit. The remaining balance is only due two months before the event begins.

    Early Booking Reward.

    Book at least 10 months before departure and receive a €100 early booking discount. As an added benefit, you'll have the best opportunity to reserve your preferred room at YEBO Boutique Guesthouse, subject to availability.
